that rosebud girl

stupid gas.

had to fill up the other day and spent almost $78. $78! (for something like 18 gallons. i was really pushing it.)

i never thought gas could cost so damn much.

this is why it sucks having a night job. light rail doesn’t run by the time i get out of work. it would be nice to be able to ride rail back and forth since i live so damn far.

if i worked during the day, i would ride rail. or if i was really feeling ambitious, i might ride my bicycle. i might even get in shape that way.

*sigh*

too bad nothing is near my house so i could walk (to the grocery, to work, etc.).

back to life.

*sigh*

i had two glorious weeks of vacation. now it’s over. and worse yet, i have to play catch-up. yeesh.

but vacation was well worth it. first stop was l.a. with lisa since she’s never been! there was lots of art (moca and the getty), lots of food, a cat (kim’s cat torie), and the greatest hollywood tour ever — the dearly departed tragical history tour!

(i kid you not. that is the actual name of the tour!)

i also got to see a bunch of people i haven’t seen in a while, like mark, maureen, rob and joe!

awww. i heart my old roomie.

i was also in vegas for three days … and lost $35 at the craps table. and that was on the last day! i went almost three days without gambling — bucking the family tradition! oy!

alas, there is no photographic evidence of my vegas trip. just the slightly lighter wallet. (it’s not just gambling … food is expensive in vegas!)
